Instructor
Ms. Mandi
My name is Mandi Jo Glidewell and I am the owner of Tu Left Feet. My dance education began at the age of 2 at Teresa’s School of Dance and continued at Dance and Theatre Unlimited, Chesterfield Dance Center, George Mason University, and Randolph College for over 28 years. I have been trained in Gymnastics, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pointe, Broadway, Musical Theatre, Partnering, African, Competition, Yoga and AcroBatic Arts styles and have been teaching dance and gymnastics for over 16 years to ages 18 months to adult. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Dance and Business Management from Randolph College, where I worked with companies such as the Limon Company, Pilobolus, the Martha Graham Company, and the Paul Taylor Company. I have also choreographed dances for Chesterfield Dance Company, Premiere Dance Academy, Chester Performing Arts Studio, Stretch & Grow, George Mason University and Randolph College. I continue to teach dance and gymnastics at the Elizabeth Randolph Lewis Powhatan YMCA and the Midlothian Family YMCA, continue to take classes at various dance seminars, competitions, and workshops on the east coast with companies like the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, and continue to take various technique classes at several local studios to keep in the student frame of mind. I have a passion for teaching dance to children, teens, and adults and would love to have the opportunity to have you or your child try one of our many performing arts classes at Tu Left Feet!
